Associated oil mills

Of the cultivated area of olive groves covering over 60,000 hectares, an annual average of 100 million kilos of olives are obtained for green seasoning, and another 150 million kilos of olives are sent to the mills where some 40 million kilos of oils is are extracted, on average.

Production activity is carried out by the 18 associated oil mills, whose level of industrial development allows them to receive the fruit and extract the olive juice in just a few hours after harvesting. Working with fresh, healthy and clean fruits, they employ continuous computerized systems and controls guaranteeing excellent qualities throughout the cold pressing process, key to obtaining high quality extra virgin olive oil.
