The Oleoestepa laboratory at the forefront in the analysis of oil and olives

The Oleoestepa laboratory has managed to expand the scope of its accreditation ISO 17025 through multi-residual analysis of agro-food products, specifically for olive oil and its olives.

This is in addition to the 2008 quality and sensory chemical analysis accredited by the ENAC (the National Accreditation Entity), making it the only laboratory belonging to a cooperative with this level of coverage in the accreditation of their trials.

The ISO 17025 accreditation in sensory, multi-residual and chemical analysis is coming to corroborate the technical competence of an Oleoestepa laboratory to determine the composition and characteristics of the virgin olive oils and their olives, as well as check for the presence of undesirable substances. In this way, their analysis service is a very useful tool to respond to the challenges of the sector from different areas, such as food security and the qualitative differentiation as a source of competitive advantage.
